Welcome to the 26th World Smart Systems & Micromachine Summit 2020
Special interest topic for this MMS2020 is „Climate change” - understanding the causes, monitoring the effects and define the mitigation actions.
We are very pleased to announce that the 26th Edition of MMS 2020 will be held in Bucharest, Romania, during May 4 - 9, 2020.
MMS 2020 will be organized by the National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest
Topic: Climate Change - Start from smart monitoring to smart overcome solutions
• micro/nano-scale energy efficiency, energy harvesting and storage, renewable non-fossil energy (e.g. wind, solar, aero-thermal, geothermal, hydrothermal, ocean energy, hydropower, biomass, landfill gas).
• Sensors, MEMS, system integration for monitoring air, water, soil, agriculture products (including nano, optoelectronic devices, flexible electronics, 3D Printing).
• IoT for monitoring floods, ice, pollution, greenhouse gases (Biosensors, biochips, self powered portable devices, data collection and communication strategies).
• Artificial Intelligence for data analysis and prediction, reducing traffic emissions, robots, drones, etc.
• Low-carbon technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Identifying and integrating climate change concerns in specific policy activities, developing capacity, strengthening the regulatory & policy framework.
• Other connected applications and results from new R&DI actions that may have happened recently in your countries/regions will be also welcome.
